The First Aid (CPR) qualification, approved by the Dubai Corporation of Ambulance Services (DCAS), is open to individuals of all ages.
This course equips participants with essential skills to handle life-threatening emergencies, focusing on primary care through knowledge development, hands-on practice, and realistic scenarios. Key skills covered include CPR, scene assessment, serious bleeding management, shock and spinal injury management, and choking response.
Additional recommended skills include AED use and emergency oxygen administration.
Who Should Take This Course?
Anyone of any age may enroll in the First Aid (CPR) qualification approved by the Dubai Corporation of Ambulance Services (DCAS). Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development, and realistic scenario practice to ensure participants feel confident in their ability to provide care during emergency situations.
What Will You Learn?
Knowledge Development
Participants will gain an understanding of the basic principles of First Aid through independent study or classroom learning. The course also familiarizes learners with their roles and responsibilities in emergency situations.

Course Duration
Total course duration: 6 hours

Assessment
Written Examination
- Mandatory for all candidates
- Exam formats may include multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blanks, and short essays
- Oral examination available if the exam material is not in a language the candidate understands
- Passing score: 75%
Practical Examination
- Emergency scenario practice allows participants to apply their skills in realistic situations
- Participants must evaluate the scene, recall critical steps, and take appropriate action
Certificate & Validity
Successful participants will receive:
- First Aid Certificate (EFR – Primary Care (CPR) Only)
- Wallet Card approved by Dubai Ambulance Centre Services and accredited by Emergency First Response
- Validity: 2 years
